Puerto Calero Lanzarote
Located on the south western coast of Lanzarote Puerto Calero is ideally located only 10km from Arrecife airport. At the resorts center is a large marina in the shelter of Puerto Calero's bay. Unlike many other of Lanzarotes resorts which have grown up around small fishing villages Puerto Calero has grown up around the purpose built luxury marina, residential area and golf course and has only been in existence since 1986, since then the marina and surrounding infrastructure has steadily developed.
The marina is a great place to spend a few hours even if you are not staying in Puerto Calero, there is a excellent selection of bars and restaurants, many having great views across the marina.
As well as the golf course Puerto Calero offers plenty of other activities from boat and fishing trips to diving (advanced and beginners courses available)
